Kate Winslet just gave this young journalist the talk I give myself before any big meeting. Kate also gave this girl a powerful lesson, we have a choice in how we show up in a room. We can crumble in fear and self doubt or we can decide to show up and do our best. Even if we “trip up” in a meeting or feel “unsure” about ourselves, we have the choice to carry on with grace.
It is so wonderful that actress Kate Winslet gave comfort, encouragement and confidence to this young journalist. The Oscar winner is not only beautiful outside, but also reflects her inner beauty. Such kindness uplifts our spirits. Hopefully, more personalities like Kate would help many beginners.
